mastodon non-Docker アップデート v2.7.1→v3.0.1
みなさんカラス専用mastodonインスタンスであるカラスタンスは使っていますか？
僕はたまに使っています。
毎回苦労するmastodonアップデート、今回も一年くらい貯めてしまったので頑張ってアップデートしていきます。
次こそはこまめにアップデートしていきましょう。

さくらのVPSプランは忘れた。
v2.7.1
前回のアップデート記事を頼りにやってみます。
が、何か設定を過去に書き換えていたみたいですね。
stashを使う書き方もやりますが、今回は
git checkout -f v2.7.1
で強制アップデートします。
git fetch
git stash
#git checkout v2.7.1
#git commit -a -m 'temp'
#git stash pop
#git reset HEAD^
git checkout -f v2.7.1
bundle install
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails assets:precompilev2.7.2～v2.7.4
この辺は楽ですね。
git checkout v2.7.2
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails assets:precompilev2.8.0
ここでrubyのバージョンを上げます。
設定を書き換えれば古いバージョンのrubyでも動くようですが、古いまま使う理由が特になかったのでアップデートします。
これ、ミスるとmigrateが通らなくなるので気をつけてください。

あと、rubyのバージョン指定そのものを書き換えてもいいようですが、設定書き換えるとstashとかで失敗するので僕は嫌です。
git checkout v2.8.0
cd ~/.rbenv/plugins/ruby-build
git pull
rbenv install 2.6.1
rbenv exec gem install bundler
rbenv rehash
cd ~/live/
gem update --system
bundle install
yarn install
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails db:migrate

sudo systemctl restart mastodon-*v2.8.1
yarnとかのバージョンアップがありますが特に問題はありませんでした。
git checkout v2.8.1
bundle install
yarn install
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails db:migrate
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails assets:precompile
RAILS_ENV=production bin/tootctl cache clearv2.8.2～v2.9.3
この辺は問題なくできると思います。
git checkout v2.8.2

今回はここで躓きました。
nodeのバージョン指定があります。
私の環境ではnvmが無いので、aptでnをインストールし、バージョンを8.12に設定しないとyarn installが通りません。
git checkout -f v3.0.0
cd ~/.rbenv/plugins/ruby-build
git pull
rbenv install 2.6.5
rbenv exec gem install bundler
rbenv rehash
sudo npm install -g n
sudo n 8.12.0
bundle install
yarn install
SKIP_POST_DEPLOYMENT_MIGRATIONS=true RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails db:migrate
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails assets:precompile
RAILS_ENV=production bin/tootctl cache clear
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails db:migrate
sudo systemctl restart mastodon-web
sudo systemctl restart mastodon-sidekiq
sudo systemctl restart mastodon-streamingアップデートで変わったこと
なんか他のインスタンスとの接続が再開してかなり使いやすくなりました。
